¡Adios Amiga!

Well, we just took Elisabeth to the airport and she's on her way home. What a whirlwind trip! It was such a gift to be able to hang out with our friend again, nearly a year after we'd last seen her.

And, for Chris and I, it was an opportunity to spend a final few days with our onetime home of Guadalajara. After we board our bus this weekend, we won't return to this great city. We leave for Mexico City - and home - less than a month from today.

It might have been bittersweet to see all the sights for one last time - except that we were with Elisabeth, who brought such joyful energy to all of our sightseeing that we'll leave Guadalajara for the last time with the priceless memories of this week lingering in our hearts and minds.
