Extra! Extra!

Read all about it! The New York Times has a special travel section on Chiapas right now! There are lots of fantastic pictures and a funny little video, if you click around. Clearly the reporter's priorities are a little different from ours, but it's still cool. Check it out here.

I saw that same photo spread in the Times over the weekend. You're right, he has slightly different priorities (bars, clubs, charm, sales), but it was fun nonetheless. For a tourist, it's odd he didn't include either of the two markets, the big one or the one behind the church.

I'm also a bit concerned that if Chiapas becomes famous (as he would like to have happen), it might lose some of its magic.
